Course Code: CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work Safely in the Construction Industry, this course offers the General Work Health Safety induction training in New South Wales (White Card)
information for work to be conducted within a construction site or as a home owner builder in Australia made up of the following Learning outcomes.
1. Identify health and safety legislative requirements of construction work.
2. Identify construction hazards and risk control measures.
3. Identify health and safety communication and reporting processes.
4. Identify incident and emergency response procedures.
Note: This course is face to face training of at least 6 Hours as required by Safework New South Wales – This course goes under other names Green Card, White Card, this course is delivered by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) 91583

The entire course uses an animated PowerPoint display together with a student workbook, handouts Registered training Organisation issued workbook with written tasks & questions, course videos and demonstrations with practical exercises.

Note: – All students will require a Unique Student Identifier Number (USI) From 1 January 2015 if you are undertaking nationally recognised training delivered by a registered training organisation you will need to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). This includes studying at TAFE or with a private training organisation, completing an apprenticeship or skill set, certificate or diploma course.

A USI account will contain all your nationally recognised training records and results from 1 January 2015 on wards. Your results from 2015 will be available in your USI account. When applying for a job or enrolling in further study, you will often need to provide your training records and results. One of the main benefits of the USI is that you will have easy access to your training records and results throughout your life.
