Course Code: CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work Safely in the Construction Industry, this course offers the General Work Health Safety induction training in New South Wales (White Card)

information for work to be conducted within a construction site or as a home owner builder in Australia made up of the following Learning outcomes.

1.    Identify health and safety legislative requirements of construction work.

2.    Identify construction hazards and risk control measures.

3.    Identify health and safety communication and reporting processes.

4.    Identify incident and emergency response procedures.

Note: This course is face to face training of at least 6 Hours as required by Safework New South Wales – This course goes under other names Green Card, White Card, this course is delivered by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) 91583

Special Provisions for ID requirement’s for students i.e. School Photo ID or Letter from school with name address date of birth

100 points of identification required

Full Birth Certificate, Passport, Australian Citizenship ea.  = 70 Points ea

Must include 1 Photo ID i.e -Drivers Licence, Firearms, RMS issued Photo card = 40 points ea

Centrelink card, Credit card, bank statement, car registration, rates Notice, Utility Bill, insurance papers , Property Lease, Medicare card  = 25 points ea

The entire course uses an animated PowerPoint display together with a student workbook, handouts Registered training Organisation issued workbook with written tasks & questions, course videos and demonstrations with practical exercises.

Note: – All students will require a Unique Student Identifier Number (USI) From 1 January 2015 if you are undertaking nationally recognised training delivered by a registered training organisation you will need to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). This includes studying at TAFE or with a private training organisation, completing an apprenticeship or skill set, certificate or diploma course.
