Introduction

The Work Health and Safety (WHS) Act and Regulations require training. Employers have a legal duty to ensure a safe work environment, and operators must receive the necessary instruction, training, and supervision.

  • Employers must provide a safe workplace without risk.
  • The EWPA Yellow Card serves as proof of training for EWP operators.
  • Students must demonstrate competence in both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

The Trained Operator Card confirms completion in one or more EWP training modules. We offer five different EWP modules, plus a Transporting (Load Restraint) module. All modules are available on-site, while the Vertical Lift (VL)module is also offered at Forktime.

About This Course

Elevating Work Platform Association (EWPA) promotes the safety and development of the EWP industry. Members benefit from industry advice, master agreements, and access to the EWPA Operator License Training Scheme.

Outcome: Upon successful completion, training records will be submitted to the EWPA, which will issue an EWP Operator License (Yellow Card). This license, which is now available as a digital card for your phone wallet, includes your photograph and serves as proof of your training.
